Frigging Cylcops.
So I owe the internet nine more Marvel drawings from the MIGHTY MONTH OF MARVEL!!! Which was apparently too mighty for me.
I’ll put up one new drawing during each remaining month of 2013.
Cyclops doesn’t count, though. Because… Cyclops.
The complete disregard of those who are in disadvantage is also palpable. We are not looking at an isolated incident of rhetoric or research. Others subscribe to motivating people to action by stating, “In California, a majority of all Hispanic births are illegitimate. That’s a lot of Democratic voters coming.” The discourse that moves the Republican Party is filled with this anti-immigrant movement and overall radicalization that is far removed from reality. Another quick example beyond the immigration debate happened during CPAC this year when a supporter shouted ““For giving him shelter and food for all those years?” while a moderator explained how Frederick Douglass had written a letter to his slave master saying that he forgave him for “all the things you did to me.” I think you get the idea.
The former director of Hispanic outreach for the Republican Party in Florida defected to the Democratic party, citing that infamous CPAC panel where the above pictured yokel described Frederick Douglass’ slave owner as “giving him shelter and food all those years”.
It’s basically hilarious that the Republicans have any traction with minorities whatsoever. Even along the class axis, Republicans are so biased and racist there’s really no place for minorities except as warm bodies come polling day and garnish at the conventions.

While poking around Lotteria Japan’s website after posting yesterday’s Ramen Burger article, I also discovered this insanity… a nine patty cheeseburger created to promote the DVD & Blu-Ray release of the new Evangelion: Q movie!!
“Nine” in Japanese is “kyu”, and sometimes shorthanded as “Q”, hence the number of patties piled on here.
It also comes with a collectible Spear of Longinus “fork”, as featured in the anime, to help you keep your burger together.
And one lucky fan will win a life-size Rei Ayanami figure!
